Kerri King, is a passionate promoter of arts and culture with more than 25 years of experience in public relations, promotions, community event marketing, and economic / cultural development.


Kerri brings diverse experience to in her role as CEO of Station Gallery.


During her many years as an entrepreneurial event producer, Kerri designed and produced hundreds of concerts, trade shows, corporate and community events.


Kerri’s passion for art, culture and music was expressed through her work with Durham Tourism for more than eight years (2007-2016).  During her tenure as Tourism Manager at the Regional Municipality of Durham, Kerri and her team launched several collaborative initiatives including The Art of Transition - connecting the creative community in Durham Region (2009-2015) and the award-winning Durham Festival which was part of the 2015 Pan Am /Parapan Am Games.


Kerri was awarded with the prestigious YWCA Women of Distinction Award for her contributions to the community, a Region of Durham Award of Excellence for Innovation for the creation of The Art of Transition, and a Gold Quill Award of Merit from the International Association of Business Communicators for her work in economic development and tourism.


Under her leadership, Durham Tourism earned numerous provincial (EDCO) and national (EDAC) Economic Development Marketing and Business Achievement Awards. Kerri holds an international economic development designation through the International Association of Economic Developers and is a regular guest lecturer at Durham College, UOIT, University of Waterloo Economic Development and York University.


Kerri is past Vice Chair of the Durham Community Foundation, past Vice Chair of the Economic Developers Association of Ontario, and past member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Tourism Organization for Zone 6, Central Counties.


Kerri lives in Port Perry with her two sons Dallas (14) and Jordan (12).

Kerri’s favourite pastimes include yoga, reading, hiking, and travelling.
